100% Acrylic Wool Tartan Fabric

The fabric used by us is 100% acrylic wool which retains the strong dye colour and does not fade. Hand washing is recommended over machine washing this fabric. That makes it retain its colour and shape for a much longer time and if it is in use for something like a kilt or an accessory which is worn regularly with time. 

16oz Tartan Fabric Weight Guide

The 16oz weight is suitable for kilts, sashes, accessories and semi-formal clothing. The weight is an adequate amount to support its shape after forming without stiffness or awkwardness. We have some clan tartan patterns and some universal or neutral checked patterns for you. We can also create custom tartans, if your pattern is not listed in our collection.
